Unfortunately, we have had a terrible experience with Building Alternatives. Our house looks quite beautiful and is definitely energy efficient, but the foundation and structure has major flaws that will end up costing us quite a lot of money to fix, as BA Inc will not remedy the errors. Any attempt to correct the situation has been quick and inefficient, and structural flaws highlighted by both a building inspector and a structural engineer have been ignored. If you choose to contract BA Inc, you need to be sure to have an inspector handy for every step of the process, from foundation up, and hold final payment until approval. Sadly, we were not in-country during construction and were definitely too naive and too trusting. Our dream home has ended up being quite a nightmare.
